Study On The Value Of Cultural Heritage Of Xi'an Forest Of Steles And Its Conservation

Xi'an Forest of Steles, one of the important cultural heritages in the old city area of Xi'an, is the largest stone sculpture museum in china, which was annunciated as the first batch cultural preservation units in the whole country. Xi'an Forest of Steles and its environment are selected as the objects of the study. In the terms of the value of cultural heritage, based on the preservation theory of the current national cultural heritage, the value of Xi'an Forest of Steles cultural heritage is re-estimated and reanalyzed, and viewpoints and suggestions are proposed on the contents ^ methods > working points and key problems of the current preservation of Xi'an Forest of Steles, by dating the history development process of Xi'an Forest of Steles, by reviewing its preservation process and by investigating the current preservation. There are four main points as follows: firstly, the history of Xi'an Forest of Steles is the preservation history of Chinese cultural heritage; secondly, the preservation basis of Xi'an Forest of Steles is the system definition and analysis of the heritage value; thirdly, the key problems of current preservation of Xi'an Forest of Steles is the reservation of the original location of Xi'an Forest of Steles; at last, the method to carry out the lasting development of the original area of Xi'an Forest of Steles is to define the future area to develop the Xi'an Forest of Steles.The paper belongs to the early study of the preservation planning of Xi'an Forest of Steles.
