The rital custom of funeral and burial possessed an important position in the social life of ancient times epoch of China ,the custom was also highly paid attention by people. With the process of the social development and progress,the buildings on tomb had gradually formed a complete institution of "tomb's palace"(linqin).The subject of the degree's dissertation is on the study of the Wuhou Tomb,which locates on the south of Mianxian,Shanxi Province.The tomb was approved the one of major monuments on national level by the State Council of China in 1996.The scale of buildings on the tomb is magnificent and the architectural pragadim is complete.The tomb is a typical example of the architectural pragadim of tomb combined with sacrifice temple. The study work can not only enhance the understanding to Zhuge Liang, but also can provide a detailed datum for the study on the protecting himself.This degree's dissertation take Wuhou Tomb of Mianxian as the main research subject, with the rital custom of funeral and burial as the cultural background, regarding Three Kingdoms' ages as the historical background. The degrees's dissertation discusses and demonstrates the historical evolution ,location and environment, the whole layout, single building and detail characteristics of Wu hou Tomb of Mianxian. And on the base of the fact of Wuhou Tomb of Mianxian, the degree's dissertation put forward that the meaning of protection is the protection for the historical value of Wu hou Tomb of Mianxian. And also points out that the protection work of Wuhou Tomb of Mianxian must under the direction of the city, and the work need us work together for a long time.
