Rigid beam-to-column connection with T-stub is widely used in the USA and Japan. As the research of this kind of connection is not enough in our country, this paper mainly discussed the behavior of rigid beam-to-column connection with T-stub.Firstly, the mechanism of force-deformation was analyzed theoretically. Then the corresponding mechanical model was established. Then a computer modeling using finite element program with material, geometry and state triple-nonlinear taken into account is carried out. The results were analyzed, and various failure patterns and M-curves were derived. According to the results, appropriate design suggestions are given out for designers.
