Tunnel shield plays an important role in Tianjin subway systemreform project because of its remarkable advantage. But it isunavoidable to disturb the soil when shield driven, especially whenthere is adjacent pile foundation, the bearing status of tunnel and pilewill be changed. So it is a critic task to make study on the behaviorand the cause of ground displacement, as well as the effect to the pilefoundation and the above structure. As part of "the control to grounddisplacement and effect to adjacent structure during shield driven",analyze the ground displacement and excess pore pressure withnumerical simulate method based on the on-site measure data. Thefollowing works has been done: Make a brief introduction on the current research conditionabout tunnel construction and ground displacement. Explain theproblem faced currently. Based on the measure data gained on-site,using finite element software build soil 3D elastoplasticity model, simulate the shield driven with quasi-static method. Make a study onthe changing status of ground displacement and excess pore pressure, and analyze the approximate area of effect to the soil.
