The Development Of Torque Ripple Testing System And The Research Of Torque Ripple's Regulation In Switched Reluctance Drive

As a new type drive system with high ratio of performance to price and its own special characteristics, SRD is attached broadly importance in the world and its application forecast is very extensive. The liberation and noise caused by the torque ripple are the main defects and restricted factors to the fast development of SRD. The general torque equipment only measures average torque and its precision requirements to testing system are too high to realize and it can't satisfy the need of torque ripple's study. This paper put forward and developed a kind of simple, convenient, and precise testing method and equipment for torque ripple. It also introduced the testing principle, testing equipment and the design of hardware and software in details. By analysis and research of testing errors, the dissertation also advanced the effective compensation ways. According to the experiments research for torque ripple testing system with the developed equipment, it draws a regularity conclusion of torque ripple. A way to reduce torque ripple of SRD is put forward on the basis of these conclusions, and the method is verified very effectively and practicably by experiments. At last the direction for further research in reducing the torque ripple is pointed out.
