Space plays a major role in architecture and it is very important for light to take a part in our perception and experience of space. We light the space not only for illumination but also to make the space more aspiring. We believe that light is the most vivid and lively element in space which ought to be deliberate. At the present time , restricted by norms and rules, the visual design of light and space primarily focus on the applications of pure technology. Expecting to consider this visual design integratively, we should get rid of the concept of pure technology, change the conventional view and syncretize the facts of perception and design into the process of plan. Above that, we should also make the process more dynamic. So, for that, when we determine the illumination level , we should also ensure the effect which light bring into the relative perception of function and space. At the beginning, based on the visual art, this thesis try to integrate architecture design and light environment design into the concept of light and space visual design. Combining with the theory of visual perception and environment-psychology, this study attempts to research the method to integrate designs of architecture and light environment. Besides that, we expect to offer some new perspectives and methods for space visual design.Thereafter, in the experiment, this thesis uses the concept of research model in nature science and utilize the method of system analysis. From theses ways, we try to recover the composing .compounding and switching principle about "luminance Space". Besides that, we also focus on the issues about the composing of luminance in space and experience of vision.
