Along with the rapid development of urban renewal and the diversifying tend of people's life style, in our country urban commercial space also change with each passing day. However, what happened to foreign countries in the commercial space has been disturbing us, with environment problems, traffic problems, separation and disorderliness between the commercial architecture and urban space the most serious. Therefore, to answer the conflict in the development of urban commercial space, the thesis starts with study of frontal space of commercial architecture, draws support from investigating frontal space of single commercial architecture and compound commercial architecture to analyse the organization structure, humanistic character, environment levels and spacial imagery. The thesis attempts to establish a integral system and put forward the fundamental principles and methods for frontal space of commercial architecture. Then, it can support reference for designing frontal space of commercial architecture.
