Study On Temperature-Control Technique And The Jointing Design For High RCC Arch Dam

High dam and arch dam is already the aim of RCC dam technique at home and abroad. RCC is differ from general concrete in many ways, such an temperature characteristic, material characteristic, construction and so on , but many engineers study RCC dam equal with concrete dam on thermal stress and temperature-control ,which is the cause of the cracks of many RCC structure . The aim of this dissertation is to study some key problems such as thermal stress, temperature-control, jointing design and temperature load of RCC arch dam.The following problems are focused on in this paper.l.In this paper, we try to use ANSYS model the process of the construction of ZhaoLaihe RCC arch dam .The calculation pay attention to the concrete thermal analyses and the thermal-creep-stress, and it will take account into the cement's hydrate heat, the Elastic module, the creep , the variety of air temperature and so on.2.Some typical schemes on temperature-control are put forward, whichare academic basis for the sign of temperature-control of RCC-Arch dams.3.In the 3-D non-linear finite analysis of Zhaolaihe RCC arch dam, a crack-equivalence fracture model simulate crack director of RCC arch dam. The analysis advances the principia of the design of crack director.4.The temperature load of Zhaolaihe RCC arch dam is studied by combining emulating analysis with back analysis. The results prove the new method is simple, exact and specific.5.The relation of the number of joints and thermal stress is studied with three RCC arch dams ,according to the results ,the formula of thermal stress of RCC arch dams with different joints is proposed.
