Anti-slide structures such as cantilever pile, pile with prestressed anchor-cable and embedding pile are more and more applied to engineering recent years. Due to a few research works and no design norm for pile with prestressed anchor-cable and embedding pile except cantilever pile, the designers generally use simple beam method to calculate the internal forces of these two structures. The structures designed by this method are very big and heavy, and have much waste of the materials, sometimes cause great damage. It is very important to study the reasonable and practical design method and construction technology of these structures. This paper performs the studies with the scientific research item of 《the study of deformation prevention of rock high slope and construction technology》 from Guangdong province, and by some key projects from the second Engineering Company of Chinese Railway and the high slopes of the motorway project from Beijing to Zhuhai in the north of Guangdong province.This paper first studies the three key indices, these are the forces acting on the structures, rational spacing between adjacent piles and the length of anchoring section. According to limit equilibrium theory and safety coefficient method, the calculation methods of landslide thrust forces are put forward, together with the transmitting coefficient method. Based on the analysis of soil arch effect between adjacent piles, some control conditions that are used for calculating rational spacing between adjacent piles are provided. These conditions are static equilibrium equation between slope thruston the soil arch and resistance on its two end sections near the two piles, intensity principle of soil arch and intensity condition of two end sections of the soil arch. The rational calculation formula of spacing between adjacent piles is got. A reasonable calculation method of the length of anchoring section is given on the basis of varying law of axial force and shear stress along anchoring section of the anchor-cable. As for the pile of prestressed anchor-cable, the method of elastic foundation beam with restriction of transverse deformation is recommended to calculate its internal forces. The mechanical characteristics of embedded pile is able to be rationally improved. According to being compared with some characteristics of cantilever pile, benefits and rationality of embedded pile are discussed in detail. The geology mechanical model test has been carried out, and the deformation of cutting slope, reinforcing effect of the anti-slide structures and the force distribution form on the structures are also discussed. The construction technology of the anti-slide structures is also put forward .
