The application of a great deal of non-linear electrical apparatus and more and more complex power system structure, scientists attach importance to harmonic problem. The thesis introduces the the harmonic distribution principle of penetration, then discusses single-phase analysis method and three-phase analysis method Three-phase analysis models of the a.c. power system main elements are present in this paper. On the basis of former research, drawing software HarmC1 .0 is developed to analyze harmonic of electric traction loads. The main function of software HarmC1.0 includes drawing supply line structure, calculating harmonic current of traction substation, calculating harmonic disrtibution of traction loads harmonic, and simulation of supply network harmonic impendence. HarmC 1 .0 has a popular GUI, and has the characters of class's hierarchy and opening ,which maks it easy to expand and maintain.Harmonic problem of Xichang has been serious since the railway from Chengdu to Kunming was built, which affects energy quality of satellite launching center to some extent Making use of HarmC1.0, the thesis studies Xichang electric power system with electric traction loads is studied, calculates the harmonic voltage on point of common coupling(PCC). Four aspects is discussed on Xichang supply network: By simulating harmonic impendence of Xichang supply networks, the veracity of "inject method" is validated; The harmonic distorrions of Xichang supply voltage of PCC and traction are calculated; Two kinds of beyond area supply modes are compared on influence of the harmonic voltage on point of common coupling(PCC); Feasibility of harmonic disposal at Xichang supply network is studied. It indicates that the models and the arithmetic in this paper are right and the software HarmC 1 .0 is practical.
