The thermal plasma - as produced in Ablation-controlled arc plasma generator of the electrothermal-chemical guns (SPETCG) - can improve the performance of the interior ballistic, which can be present by the process of the plasma ignition and the process of the plasma enhanced burning. The systematic research on characteristics of propellant ignition and combustion enhanced is carried out, the main points are as follows:1. . The experiment research on propellant enhanced burning iscarried out. The characteristics of combustion enhance is achieved through analysis the experimental data.2. According to the experiment in a closed chamber, Burning rate of propellant was measured, a modified burn rate law could be used for the propellant to simulate the effect of enhanced gas generation rate through analysis the experimental data.3. The interior ballistic model of the SPETCG one-dimension*two-phases is established, through the 30mm ETC gun firings, the theoretical results are compared with experimental data to determine the agreement.4. On the base of the traditional two-dimensions two-phases interior ballistics model, the SPETCG two-dimensions two-phase interior ballistics model is established. According to the different locations of plasma jet in SPETCG, the different features of interior ballistic is considered from two dimensions, which provides theory basis for the upcoming experiment of 70mm ETC gun firings.
