Electrothermal chemical gun (ETCG) is one of the most promising new concept weapons recently. The interior ballistic process of ETCG is that the plasma which is produced by arc discharge in the pulsed power supply interacted with the propellant to release chemical energy as the driving energy by burning or decamping. Enhancement function of plasma ignition is an important part in the research of launch technology of ETCG. It involved many aspects such as the structures of plasma generator, the conditions of electrical energy, the lasting time of plasma injection, the interaction between plasma and propellant and the matching of ignition structure with the charge structure. In this paper, one-dimensional two-phase flow of interior ballistic has been simulated and analyzed by using numerical method under different conditions, such as the structure of plasma generator, the conditions of electrical energy and the lasting time of plasma injection. Some useful results and conclusions have been obtained, which can contribute to further research on the performance of interior ballistic process in ETCG. affected by enhancement function of plasma.The main points are as follows:(1) The progress of the effect of the plasma on propellant bed is analyzed.(2) Based on the interior ballistics and calculation hydrodynamics,the theoretic model of one-dimensional two-phase flow under the enhancement function of plasma is established, the governing equations of flow field are confirmed;(3) Calculating method for one-dimension two-phase flow of interior ballistics under the enhancement function of plasma is established.(4) Based on the method, the program is produced and the data is processed and translated into charts by using Visio and Origin.(5) The influences of bottom-jet plasma on interior ballistic process are analyzed.(6) The influences of piccolo arc plasma jet on interior ballistic process are analyzed.
