Annular Gap Mill is a new kind of mill, which was developed during 1980's and 1990's. This kind of mill is called '21'st century mill'. It has many advantages such as less energy-consuming, high efficiency and low noises. The principle of the mill is concentrating the milling energy into a confined annular gap, in order to increase energy density and acquire high milling efficiency. On the base of the study of predecessor, certain analysis, design and update have been done in this paper. Also, through some academic analysis in dynamics and a great deal of experiments, some discuss and research on structural and technological parameters is involved here. The purpose of all is to update the mill's structure and improve the efficiency of milling and develop the machine for milling fine powder which is more fine than 10-7m.The innovation of this text lies in:1,The distributing orderliness of medium grain in separating area and milling area have been studied in this text;2,The smashing model and milling mechanism of the Annular Gap Mill in intensity theory and energy-consuming theorem have been analyzed and appraised; The energy transmitted between medium ball and supplies while grinding have been educed;3,The best structure and technological parameters of the Annular Gap Mil have been proposed in his text. The influence of six structure and technological parameters, including of rounds(or time) of grinding, rotational speed of the rotor, the speed of supporting material, thickness of liquid, milling gap and proportion of different medium grain to the final grain size and grind efficiency through a large number of experiments have been studied. And the optimizing structural and technological factors been found;4,After improving and upgrading the structure according to the optimum structural and technological parameters, the last granularity d(n,0.5) =0.64um,d(n,0.9) =1.34um is great improvement comparing to the result of not adopting the optimum structural and technological parameters;...
