Cost Estimate Of Temperature Control For Hyperboloidal Arch Dam Construction

There being lots of concrete with high quality requests for high hyperboloidal arch dam of concrete, quite a cost is used in temperature control of concrete, however, there hardly be explicit computational method for the cost of temperature control at present. Based on the study of the cost of temperature control in the XiLuoDu dam, this paper put forwards a set of computational method for the unit price and the cost of temperature control through the analysis of natural condition and design condition, and there are some theoretic and practical values.Through the analysis of the costs of dam concrete temperature control, this paper builds their model of estimation, and based on the natural condition and design condition, this paper gets the costs of the temperature control measures by the analogy of the empirical value.Two valid measures of controlling the temperature of blocks are reducing the heat of hydration and lowering the pouring temperature of concrete. The former is reached mainly by adopting the Portland cement with middle or low heat, proper mix proportion of concrete, rational layer thickness, rational time interval and initial cooling of water; and the latter is realized by lowering the temperature of concrete in the mouth of mixer plant and lowering the temperature of concrete entering grids. The temperature of concrete entering grids is affected by the temperature of concrete in the mouth of mixer plant and the transportation equipments, the affected cost of transportation equipments is involved in the price and efficiency of equipments, and to reach the design temperature of concrete in the mouth of mixer plant, we must carry out the complex temperature control design of preceding. So lowering the temperature of concrete in the mouth of mixer plant is crucial, it decides the cost of temperature control.In the cost of temperature control in dam concrete, a part of cost already be involved in their corresponding costs, so we don't consider it, and the costs of preceding the concrete and postcooling the concrete are more larger than ones of other measures of temperature control, they also affect the invest more, in this paper, they will be analysised alone.
