Study And Design On Ecological Service Function Of Rooftop Garden In Haikou City

Rooftop garden which was popular to citizen and was attached importance by government in city because of its high safe ability, convenient using and good ecological benefit had great developmental potentiality. It was spare that study ecological service ability in domestic and was studied in Jiahua Rooftop Garden.Rooftop garden ecosystem was divided nature ecological sub-ecosystem, society sub-ecosystem and economy sub-ecosystem and studied in this item. And rooftop garden ecological service ability was calculated by estimating the three sub-ecosystems' ecological service ability. Another, rooftop garden ecological designation was explored and put into use in this item.The main results are followed:1. Function and framework of rooftop garden ecosystem were studied, sorted and perfected in content.2. Compared to bareness roof, there were marked differences by studying Temperature, Relative humidity, concentration of C02, NOx, S02, TSP and fungoids in roof garden. There were dropping temperature and keeping humidity in Rooftop garden in the measured time, it wasdropped 22.04 per cent and increasing 25.21 per cent compared to bareness roof. In addition, it reduced nocuous matter in air in the rooftop garden, concentration of NOx, S02, TSP and fungoid in rooftop garden was reduced 15. 14 per cent, 16. 19 per cent, 30 per cent, 20per cent separately.3. The results of studying society sub-ecosystem in rooftop garden were showed: it is a convenient, high security room where had economic return and good ecological environment for owner.4. The result of studying economic sub-ecosystem in rooftop garden was showed: the economic benefit of rooftop garden was,157,000 from Mar. 2003 to May 2004.5. The value of ecological service function was about 091,200 which is about 18.25 times as much as the devotion in the same year. Total value of ecologic service function is about 107,473,900 in 80 years, and the value of one square meter roof was about 32,150. It was great economical return clearly for rooftop garden item.6. Base on the studying achievement and analysis, five principles were put forward about rooftop garden design.7. The five principles were put into three practical projects and acquired society effects well.
