Dynamic compaction has been widely and successfully used to treat soft ground since its creation by L. Menard in 1968 and some of its innovated techniques such as dynamic replacement have been developed. At the same time, theoretical and experimental researches have been done gradually. Although there are comparatively some researches on it, the design of dynamic compaction 15 highly empirical and qualitative because of the complicated parameter of the 50 itself. Up to now, there are no systematical theory and the agreed opinions for the designing and application of the dynamic compaction and the degree of improvement for dynamic compaction is left to be determined by way of testing after construction further researches aimed to the study of the effect of treatment and the analyses of the designing method are essential desired on remote the level of an dictation.Based on the analyzing the method of designing the dynamic compaction in the world and studying the force mechanism of dynamic compaction. This paper has put forward the opinions of solidified the ground by dynamic compaction and suggested the method of selecting the dynamic compaction parameter and the method which was used in the field has achieved desired effects. The paper has analyzed the some construction methods of dynamic compaction in the soft ground and used dynamic compaction to solidify the soft ground which provide a potential method for the dynamic compaction. At last, the paper was analyzed and applied the testing methods of effect of treatment by dynamic compaction. By assessing the economic effects, the dynamic compaction economical and reasonable ground treatment.
