The material testing machine is an important test equipment inmechanical testing, and it could measure different kinds ofperformance parameters of materials. In order to measure anddisplay these parameters exactly and expediently, the paper hascarried out the reform of electromechanical integration to the lackof measure of the old style hydraulic material testing machine. Firstof all, the paper has analysed principles of operation about loadingsystem and measuring system in the old type hydraulic testmachine. Then, according to parameters required, the paper hasapplied modern advanced detection technique, and realized thesystem of on-line measurement about pressure parameter anddisplacement parameter. Finally, the paper has carried out realtime processing to the collective data, which supplied usefulmeans to farther researches. Because objects involvedare different in thousands ways and work environmentencountered is different, it need develop corresponding softwareand hardware system to specific situation, which increasessystemic complexity. On the foundation of researches, the paper has completedhardware parts which are composed of signal acquisition, signalfiltering, A/D transition and data transmission. In the windowsenvironment of PC, the paper has accomplished software parts ofdata gathering and managing by Visual C++ for development tool.It has realized data exchange between hardware part and softwarepart by communications. Finally, it has been proved systemicvalidity and stability by test debugging of entire data acquisitionand processing system. System software mostly has following characteristics: 1. It displays dynamically collective data and draws charts of strain and stress, which supplies one useful instrument to view test for users. 2.
