Near Infrared Spectroscopy Analysis(NIRA)needn't complex sample preprocessing, it can be used in analysis on-line and in situ conveniently. And NIRA has many advantages such as high analyze speed, low cost and no-pollution. NIRA have been used more and more widely, and the realization of rapidly and exactly analyze function and portable NIRS Spectrometer are the keys in the further use of this technique.The development and new methods & new technique of NIRS Spectrometer are described synthetically. Based on the development and characteristic of the two new techniques—PDA&USB, the characters of portable NIR Spectrometer with new techniques are presented. Based on the experiment instrument that has been developed by our scheme group, the improved scheme of measurement & control system is put in this thesis. In portable NIRS Spectrometer, Two kinds of communicate interfaces——USB and RS232 were adopted. The system includes two sets of software: One is the measure & control software based on standard RS232 interface and Windows CE operating system, this set of software mainly works in outside job; the other is based on USB and PC Windows operating system; In the two sets of software, a arithmetic frame was set up and several analytical arithmetic were realized。The two sets of software can work independence and exchange data by USB interface.Compared with PC or portable book-computer, the PDA based on Windows CE has many merits. PDA can work in field locale to store original data conveniently; furthermore, because its software is compatible with PC Windows, PDA and PC can realize synchronous data transmission. At present, there are less special scheme using PDA inland, but in overseas, the application of PDA has come forth in various industries such as medical treatment, education, geology etc. In the field of analytical instrument domain, Australia PIMA has already put PDA based on Windows CE into its instrument system.Adopting PDA as the instrument's measure & control platform instead of PC can greatly decrease the whole system's volume and power consumption; in addition, it can enhance systemic dependability. According to the system's demands, the author designed measure & control software based on Windows CE, from three parts--firmware layer,driver layer,client layer present instrument's measure & control software's programming. The firmware layer mainly discusses the realization of bottom layer in software based on 89C2051 SCM; the drive layer mainly discusses equipment drive software based on Windows CE. Client layer mainly discuss some key questions in client software of portable NIRS Spectrometer.For different instruments' user's requests, considering developmental direction of the computer interface, the author brings forward the scheme about changing interface and measure & control software based on PC for enhance this instrument's market frivolousness. The key technology is substitute USB interface for RS232, and mends the hardware and software relevant with USB.In realization course, USB interface module is developed: included hardware,firmware,drive and function testing software based on PC; The interface module has been passed debug, and provide a feasible and dependable for follow upgrade of portable NIRS Spectrometer.In addition, consulting the characteristic of Near Infrared Spectroscopy Analysis, the author did some study and research about arithmetic of Near Infrared Spectroscopy Analysis pretreatment and correlation's operation. The two kinds of software were designed and realized with VC++, through analysis experiments of the spectral data of some minerals, these arithmetic are validated to be accurate.At last, corresponding testing and result analyzing be made for main parts of instrument system, and testing USB interface's dependability by software means; by made a great deal analyzing and processing of field mineral data, and contrast the instrument with Australia PIMA, for validating the correctness of the instrument's spectral and measure & control function.
