With the development of economy and increasing of population, in order to intend the living space, many underground constructions have been built. Because of special geography site of underground constructions, the higher taking place rate of fire and bigger fire loss make fire-fighting system prominent. Therefore the smoke control system is the key equipment.On the basis of expatiating on the way of smoke control of underground constructions, I think that water curtain system of box type is more applicable to underground constructions than the others. Whereas model experiment need lots of time, 1 analyze the water curtain system of box type by making use of computational fluid dynamics(CFD). The main achievements and conclusions are as follows:1. Through the analysis of numerical computation with the contrast of the experiment, I make the detailed appraisal of the accuracy in computation using the standard k- ε model , RNG k-ε model and low Reynolds k- ε model in common use that CFX4 provides under the situation of lacking of the parameter of model . The result is that the standard k- ε model and RNG k- ε model can give the result in accordance with the measured value of experiment.2. After analyzing the flow inside the box and at the muzzle of the water curtain, I find that there are many complex vortex structures in the box and the velocity at the muzzle is not even. Through improving the effects of the figuration and internal structure of box, the flow velocity of nozzle of water curtain system of box type is better even.3. I precede the simulation to fluxion state of water curtain system of box type with computational fluid dynamics, and find that the water curtain system of box type can come into being the continuous water curtain without break.
