Abstract/Summary:
In modern manufacturing industry, in order to get the high product quality, we should measure the product's shape accurately and three-dimensional image with the measuring data can be reconstructed. The stereo-vision measuring method based on computer technology has been developed rapidly, and applied in robot vision, aviation mapping , remote sending image analysis, character identification, military application, medicine diagnose, industry measurement and so on. How to survey exactly, conveniently, quickly is an important task that many scientific researchers always devote themselves in studying and researching. The paper puts forward a stereo-vision method taking advantage of the stereo-vision measuring principle which combines with coordinate measuring machine to make up the no-contact measurement system. Also the paper studies on stereo-vision measuring principle, the design of no-contact probe, object location and selection, camera calibration, and the method of getting 3D special information from 2D image information .The system reaches higher precision in large field by accurately moving of Coordinate Measuring Machine and the accurate measurement in small field stereo-vision measuring principle At last ,the experiment results show this approach is feasible and high measuring precision could be achieved.
