Nowadays,fibre-wrapping and steel-bonding have been the most popular ways to reinforce RC structures in demestic and abroad .But in recent years ,the researches have been concentrated on the stress-strain relationship,flexural, shear and ductility behavior of single material reinforcement .In fact, no mater which material has its own advantages and disadvantages. The combination rehabilitation technique which we put forword is a more efficiently method than single material reinforcement.Based on the experiment of inclined section bearing capacity of 14 RC beams which been combinatively reinforced with bonded steel plate and carbon fiber reinforced polymer sheet, this paper validated the combination rehabilitation can greatly improve the inclined section bearing capacity of RC beam .The author probed the bearing behavior and effect factors of combinatively reinforcement and commended a reasonable shear capacity design formula, which based on truss-arch model, for the appling to practical calculation.The whole paper includes six chapters .In the first chapter, a brief introduction of some strengthening methods , the research status in reinforcement with CFRP and bonded steel plate, and the main contents of this paper are stated .In the second chapter, the making of specimen and the corresponding experimental devices are introduced. In the third chapter, the experimental results of are analyzed .In the forth chapter, The author probed the bearing behavior and effect factors for combinatively reinforcement.In the fifth chapter,based on truss-arch model, a reasonable shear capacity design formula for the appling to practical calculation is commended.The last chapter draws a conclusion from the whole research and takes a look into forthcoming work in this field.
