The Research And Development Of YZ18 Hydraulic Vibratory Roller

The general development of road rollers is stated in this paper. The theories of vibratory compacting and the configuration and work theory of vibratory wheel and the compact characteristic and effect of vibratory road roller are introduced. The chief design and the whole layout of YZ18 hydraulic vibratory road roller are presented. The parts about calculation during the design procedure include power calculation of the whole machinery, traction calculation, components matching calculation of hydraulic mechanism and the ability of climbing slope. The research of continuous tests of compacting level is stated. Lastly it reaches conclusions for the research project in this paper.The project of YZ18 hydraulic vibratory road roller is one of scientific projects developed to fit for the requirement of market in our company. YZ18 roller can match the design requirement and it can operate steadily and pass the performance tests of industrial and quality supervision department. Now YZ18 roller is produced with small quantities. During the research and development of this project, two patents are developed, one is the item I take charge of, and the other is the item I take part in. This paper bases on the project and aims at one of compacting mechanism—vibratory roller. This paper includes five chapters as follows: 1. The development and the trends of compacting mechanism are presented in this chapter, and the orientation of YZ18 roller is visualized based on the above information.2. It sufficiently takes the characters of vibratory road rollers into account and YZ18 hydraulic vibratory road roller is designed and manufactured in a creative way. And two patents are attained: (1) a novel configuration of the shell of vibrator; (2) an automatic unfold equipment for machine cover. It proves that YZ18 roller can use well and it has appropriate model and layout. 3. The main technical specifications of YZ18 roller are calculated, including travel system, climb grade, vibrator, reducing vibration system and power. 4. The research of continuous tests of compacting level for vibratory road roller is introduced and the state of compacting level is examined by dynamic response of vibratory wheels. The operator can look over the status of compacting from the displays which ensures the construction quality.5.The industrial assess and the whole machine performance tests after design and manufacture are presented.
