Measurement of great size long rail is an important embranchment of geometry parameter measurement. With the development of technology and production need, rail precision requirement becomes higher and higher. Length of rail is longer, measurement becomes more and more difficult. With the appearance of laser, long rail measurement has a great chance. It is a pity that effect of temperature and air disturbance doesn't reduce for laser beam on the chance of high precision。So technician try to improve precision of laser collimation system in many ways. The dissertation is an experiment to solve the problem of long rail measurement.The dissertation studies history and actuality, and it analyzes and compares merits and shortages of many kinds of laser collimation. With reference of others' production, we put forward a new kind of laser measurement system based on wedge-shaped plate interference. High stability He-Ne laser beam is collimated and broadened. It is cast on wedge-shaped glass plate. Interference stripes made is accepted by photoelectricity sensor and sent to MCU. Movement of interference stripes is dealt with by mean of software subdivision. Offset of measure spot to laser beam is gained.We take anti-jamming measures with emergency of sign faintness and SNR decrease for long distance measure. Software subdivision is studied and implemented. The means of low power consumption is discussed. We also try to make the instrument miniaturization. With the development of sample instrument, we develop optics measure system,sign acceptance and disposal system,MCU and system software on new results of modern electron technology,optics technology,sensor and MCU technology. We take some necessary measure to improve SNR and measure precision of the instrument.The model instrument has advantages of impact structure,high circuit integration,simple data dealt,small cubage and low cost, so there is good application foreground. The results indicate that its performances meet scheduled targets thought comparison test,system stability and reiteration test of the model instrument in contrast with photoelectricity autocollimator and local measure test in the long ship pool rails.
