Isolation is effective on seismic control, and its principle is that isolating system insulates seismic force from building structure. Isolating system is often installed under building, separate superstructure from base of building. When earthquake wave conaes, isolating system can limit action of wave, and extend periodicity of buildings, and debase earthquake effect and acceleration response, and takes on seismic energy. So, isolating system can reduce earthquake action of superstructure.When minor earthquake and wind load act, the isolating system will have adequately initial horizontal stiffness. When moderate earthquake acts, the isolating system can absorb seismic energy through deforming. The base only transfers a little seismic energy to superstructure. Because damper can limit displacement, the isolating system has enough dissipating capability and vertical stifihess, when large earthquake acts. Therefore, the isolating system can have superstructure be in state of elasticity, whatever intensity earthquake act.At present, the isolating systems mainly have two styles: friction slippage and rubber bearing. Most isolating system adopt rubber support. The rubber support isolating systems have good isolation effect. But they have a little limitation; for example, require manufacturing technique and construction technique, what they are required by isolating elements, are complicated. Additionally, there are a few factories that produce the isolating elements, and there are some adverse factors mat they are high cost, durability and stability etc. The China is underdeveloped country and area that has frequent earthquakes. So, excellent performance and low cost are highly important.According as basal theory of isolation, the dissertation considers that the resilient braces are made up of steel columns. For reduce destruct action of seismic force. Because steel has high strength, good seismic capability, good malleability and plasticity, steel brace poles can have some deformation, but don't collapse. The dissertation discovers that shoring piles of trench were abandoned after buildings were completed; this is wasteful. So consider that one reinforce concrete column is replaced by several steel columns, and shoring piles of trench became lateral supports, and lateral displacement is control in a certain range by dampers. This is a new way about isolation.The objective of dissertation is to research on new-style isolating structure that is made up of shoring piles and flexible columns. The new-style isolating system is different from the rubber bearing isolating system, and it avoids a part of limitation about rubber bearing isolating structure, and have construction becane convenient. These work are central contents of this dissertating.1. Isolating building is analyze, basic theory of resilient supporting isolating structure system is presented, which is make up of shoring piles and flexible columns.2. Four stories and four pains structural model is made and analyze by finite element analysis software-SAP2000. The dynamic characteristic about the new style isolating structure is studied, and contrast with dynamic characteristic about common earthquake resistant structure. The superiority of the new-style isolating structure isshowed.3. The response of the new-style isolating structure is studied, and contrast with response of common earthquake resistant structure. The new-style isolating structure is proved to can control effectively seismic response.4. Structural measures and structural design methods, which about the new style isolating structure, are provide.
