Study On Uneven Ground Treatment Of Fushan New Living Area

Uneven ground treatment, especially in hilly country is a difficult problem for geotechnical engineers and designers. Its anisotropism is the emphases and difficulty for ground treatment. The conservative treatment often causes unreasonable waste, however blindfold ignoring its damage may cause troubles . Starting with the practice of uneven ground treatment in Fushan new living area, six methods of composite subgrade are concluded in this paper:1. Artificial backfill by dynamic consolidated ;2. Artificial backfill by dynamic consolidated composite with soil;3. Cushion of powdery stone composite with soil;4. Double structure of cushion of powdery stone and dynamic consolidated subgrade;5. Dynamic consolidation subgrade composite with rock;6. soil-rock composite subgrade. Settlement observation was used to measure their deformation rule of 39 building which use the upper ground treatment method. By gathering the information about their correlative engineering geology, ground treatment and testing, foundation character and settlement observation, settlement characteristics and inhesive rule of different ground treatment was analysised and concluded in this paper.The main conclusion of the investigation is about: 1.It is feasible to use artificial treated on uneven ground in mountain area. Its settlement character satisfied with the requirement of code.2.The adaptability of material for dynamic consoladation is the emphases to control. The effect of granular soil is worse , and the uniformity of coarse grained soil is poor.3. By dynamic consolidation, The time of the settlement stabilization of the coarse grained soil is short, which the settlement will stabilize within two years. 4.Spread foundation should be used in mountain uneven ground.5. Cushion of powdery stone has some characteristics that quality controlling is convenient, deformation controlling is effective, settlement is small, effect of dispersing foundation pressure and adjusting settlement is obviously.6. The deformation of weathering rock is external existing and can be estimated.7. Settlement observation is the effective method to control the deformation of uneven ground.The meaning of this study is to conclude the successful practices of ground treatment in Fushan new living area, and to guard the designing , construction and testing of ground treatment in similar area.
