This thesis comes from the project research of control system of intelligent roller ,based on the researches of fault diagnosis part of intelligent roller.In this thesis, research background of fault diagnosis of vibration roller hydraulic system is reviewed and the basic structure of expert system of intelligent roller for fault diagnosis is introduced. Then hydraulic system of YZC10Z intelligent roller is analyzed to get knowledge using in fault diagnosis.Techniques of intelligent fault diagnosis are introduced. The chief methods of intelligent diagnosis are Expert System (ES) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Each of them has some advantages and weakness. So the ES/ANN combination is promising.Based on above research, Expert System of Intelligent Roller Hydraulic System for Fault Diagnosis (ES-IRHS-FD) is built for familiar fault diagnosis. This system has knowledgebase and reasoning-machine of object oriented. Real time information of the roller is obtained by the system through man-machine conversation.At the end of the thesis, some conclusions are given to summarize my research of fault diagnosis techniques of intelligent roller hydraulic system. In prospect, several points about the continued research of ES-IRHS-FD are given.
