To improve the reliability of locomotives application in locomotive department, to reduce the incorrect act of electrific unit, to improve the service quality and service efficiency of locomotive, to change the lagging situation of locomotive control, to grope the new controlling method of locomotive , the article point out the new controlling method based on PCC(programmable computer controller).First, the article stated the current situation and trend of programmable controlling technique in detail . The article introduce the procedure in programmable controller developing , from i t's s ubstitution for relay control s ystem , c omplete s implicable logic control to now it can complete sequence logic control, analogical handling , return circuit adjust ; from simple lab language to advanced language . The programmable controller developed from Programmable Logic Controller to Programmable Computer Controller , it's function become more powerful. It can not only complete the control of switch signal, fixed time control, count control but also can realize procedure control , data handling , communication and net control.The electrify control system of diesel locomotive is a complicate controlling system . In the long term , it adopt relay and contact controlling system to complete it's control function . The article analized the defect and weakness of controlling system in DF4 diesel locomotive and put forward the new controlling method based on PCC . In this article , we designed monitor and controlling circuit for diesel start , adjust velocity. and constant efficiency adjust. Last, it discuss the disturb factor focus the bad work environment.In this paper , it adopt the monitor of rotation speed , water temperature to complete the start of diesel engine, to reduce the discharge amount of storage battery and improve the start propertacity . In this procedure , it reduced the timing relay etc component and substitute with soft function . In step motor drive , it utilize the PCC produce pulse and drive the motor . The article complete the power efficiency adjust bymonitor the corresponding signal so that it can carry on in according as the ecomomy curved line of diesel engine to realize save diesel oil and smooth adjust.
