In recent years, with the increasing of air traffic, some new requirements are put forward for Air Traffic Control system. This thesis bases on the work that I've done when I was an internship in WiseSoft Ltd. From February 2002 to March 2003. This thesis mainly discusses the key technologies of weather data processing in ATC system.Weather data processing is one of the most important parts in ATC system. This thesis bases on prevenient fruits and the new characters of weather data. After lucubrating, a method of weather data processing is presented. The main contents are presented in the following:(1) Mono-radar weather data processing research. An integrated method of mono-radar weather data processing is presented. This thesis researches on the input, unit transform,fresh,discard,output and display of weather data in detail. With the method, mono radar weather data can be processed expediently.(2) Coordinate transform and alignment of time and space research. The methods of coordinate transform and projection transform are proposed in this thesis, and they are universal. A scheme of time and space of multi-radar is presented. North rectification and compensation of time lag is realied. All of these are the foundation of multi-radar weather data fusion.(3) Multi-radar weather data fusion research。The common multi-sensor data fusion way is discussed. The correlation method is proposed for weather data. In this part, some typical fusion algrithms are researched and the results of some fusion algrithms are compared. The research results presented above have been applied in the new generation ATC System, and it has been proved that the methods in this thesis are feasible and have much social and economic benifits.
