Application Of Speech Technology On Tower Simulator System

With the development of modern air transportation ,more and more controllers are needed continously.In order to meet this need ,many kinds of Radar Simulator and Tower Simulator come up continuely,which improve the technic of controllers and cut the taking-on-tower 's time. For strenthening function of Tower simulator, Speech Synthesis and Recognition is introduced to this system.It is proved that its function is enhanced and the efficiency of training is also improved.Speech signal processing is a branch of information science ,a intersection subject based on digital signal processing and linguistics, including speech code ,speech synthesis and speech recognition .Tower simulator system's function is strengthened with the input of speech technology.Speech synthesis system is an important part of Tower Simulaltor,By which inputing command in pilot position could be translated to natural and fluent air-control sentences,reducing the burden of controllers and improving training efficiency.On the other hand ,the understanding and accuracy of air-control sentence could be improved.All speech synthesis units are sampled from front controllers ,the training reality is enhanced.Speech recognition system is another important part of strenthening function of Tower Simulator,by which pseudo-pilot just choose the object needed to excut in radar map and speak as in real work environment with entering any command ,the system could translate the speak words into command,so the object,the plane, could do following command.Then the burden of controllers can be reduced more furtherly.
