Science and technology change with each passing day, and along with thedevelopment of power electronic devices, IC and permanent magnetic materials, themethodology using electrical switches to control Brushless DC motor(BLDCM) hasbeen developed very quickly. The structure of BLDCM is similar to traditional DCmotor. At the same time, it has the advantages of high efficiency and easily adjustingspeed of AC motor. It has been widely used. As development of power electronic devices, digital signal processor (DSP), highperformance permanent magnet materials such as NbFeB and SmCo, BLDC motorshave high reliability with light, small volume, low cost high efficiency and powerdensity, and free maintenance in comparison with brush DC motors. The thesis first expounds the basic component parts, the basic running principleand mathematics model of the Brushless DC Motor, then designs a double control loopsadjusting speed system, in which the design GA-based optimization of algorithm iscarried out based on SGA (simple genetic algorithms) studies. Current loop uses regularPI (proportional integral) control. As GA has a lot of problems, such as prematurity,hunting torpor, difficult choosing of major parameter, an ISGA is presented to optimizethe PI parameter of speed controller in the speed loop aiming at those problems, and itproves to be effective by contrasting its follow performance and interference rejectionusing simulating results of MATLAB programs . Texas Instruments offers a new DSP controller family referenced TMS320C24x,which is specifically designed for the needs of digital motor control. In s single chipapplication, this device combines a fixed-point DSP core with micro-controllerperipherals. This chip is able to perform sophisticated control schemes. This paper describes the methodologies of control system with sensor BLDCM.These efficient control strategies make it possible to improve dynamic behavior in widespeed ranges.
