The energy consumption and badly and quickly pollution of the environment havebecome a topic which more and more people discuss.At the same time,with the fasteconomic growth,how to solve the issue of sustainable development of China todaybecome a great event.The electric vehicle to use electric power as energy,and emissions ofatmospheric pollution,which has an advantage compare to internal combustionengines,become the focus of attention.The drive system is the core of the electricvehicle,and the motor control is the core of the drive system. Permanent brushless dcmotor become a focus in the modern automobile development.In this paper, the research object is the permanent brushless dc motor, the purpose isthe better control of torque ripple, research on brushless dc motor control system. Incombination with high efficiency and big torque of brushless dc motor, raise that to usethe direct torque control can effectively restrain the torque ripple, and improve theoperation of the electric vehicle performance. First of all, the author do a survey of thecurrent major automobile production on the research and development of electric vehicledrive motor, analysis the advantage of brushless dc motor as a drive motor, take a furtherresearch on the structure and mathematical model. Then, combining the experience ofusing direct torque control in asynchronous motor, put forward brushless dc motor directtorque control system scheme, and using MATLAB simulation confirmed that this schemecan effectively restrain the torque ripple as expected. Finally,designed the hardwarestructure of brushless dc motor control system based on DSP,due to the inadequacies ofthis paper,put forward the direction of further improving and perfecting.
