Design And Study On Foundation Of Light-weight Steel Structure

The design of foundation is an important content in the light-weight steel structure with gabled frames. Its main character of light weight for light-weight steel structure affects the foundation and has instructive significance in engineering practice.This paper, by means of finite element analysis, ANSYS, studies on the foundations of some projects. The main conclusions of this paper include:1. The load case of the foundation is different with the main structure, a combine case involves in wind without live load is the design load case of foundation. As well as, the load case leads to the most eccentric center distance of foundation.2. The deformation of column base, which due to non-uniform settlement of foundation and some factor of manufactures and erects of the main structure. Its effects on mid-span, deflection, sidesway of column top, and stress of different types of light-weight steel structure is discussed as well. 3. The FEM model of fixed and pinned column base are erected to modeling the working condition, due to tension force of foundation anchor and it increases the shear resistance of the column base.The other work deal with constructional technology and relative measure and reinforce of foundation. The main conclusions of this paper include:1. New method of locating the foundation bolts is put as entire location, and it only needs to control the elevation and the axis of foundation, as well as , it is prevail in practice. 2. Foundation beam is critical to the stability of foundation. In this paper, the pertinent conformation forms according to different connection forms.3. Because of the manufacturing techniques, the neighboring buildings need to take some measure to foundations. In this paper, a new disposal method, trimmer beam method, is given. 4. In rainy period, the poor bailing and the little know about geology new building, will lead to non-uniform settlement of foundation. And the paper introduces the method of jacked grout injection reinforces foundation based on a real project.
