Firstly, the thesis traced to origins to the archetype, and analyzed the archetype theory which is in realm of anthropology and psychoanalysis psychologies, then took it to be the source of architecture archetype. Secondly, the thesis introduced the application of archetype which is in realm of literature and art. The purpose of this work is that it can be the objects or medium for architecture archetype's import. In architecture realm, the thesis analyzed the predicament which consisted in the architecture archetype's import course——the duality of being mode and diversity of comprehension.
