Study On Architecture Form Generating Based On Geometric Archetype Of Square

In the contemporary Chinese architectural context,the study of the inherent rules of architecture form generating is declining,and the architectural creation is affected by economic and technical factors,and the subject boundary is eroded.Based on these problems,this dissertation aims to build a strong foundation platform for the discipline of architecture,by exploring the the graphic properties on which architecture is relied,and the form generating potential,systematically,from the perspective of Euclidean geometry.Square is a generating motif of common Euclidean geometry.This dissertation studies on the relationship between square,the derivative graphics from geometric archetype of square and architecture form generating.Sort out the classification system of square derivative graphics in the Euclidean geometry system.Summarize the rules of square derivation in the form of architecture,and sum up the methods of architecture form generating.Taking the pinwheel as an example,this dissertation analyzes the geometric characteristics of the pinwheel archetype,and combs its prototypical evolution in architectural theory research and design practice.Taking the case interpretation as the premise,carry out exploration and research based on the operation diagram of "pinwheel".Through the analysis of the diagrams associated with design,it reviews how the architecture form evolves from the abstract figure into the concrete space and form.In the process of research,it begins with the analysis of the architecture form,reviewing the historical architecture form development in the classical age and significant theory in modern times,exploring the relationship between square and architecture form.Graphic analysis and case study are taken as the basic research methods,while the theories of formal aesthetics,archetype theory,Gestalt psychology and diagram theory are taken as the theoretical and methodological basis of interdisciplinary study.The diagrams of derived graphics are divided into six categories: centripetal centralization,meshing,centrifugal diffusion,integral rotation,local change and edge disintegration.Choosing the derivative graphics as secondary and tertiary geometrical archetypes and taking "pinwheel" as an example,this dissertation builds up the thinking pattern of architectural form generating: analysis of geometric features,evolution of archetype and operation methods.It proposes the architecture form generating based on square geometric archetype from the four directions of systematic gradual changing,mutation operation,multidimensional thinking and group organization.It aims to provide a concrete and feasible way of thinking and method reference in the discussion of the problem of geometry and architecture form generating in the future.
