Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) is nowadays in the forward position and one of the focuses of the simulation field, and HLA is the main direction that will be DIS development in the future. The appearance of HLA is mainly used for improving the interaction and reusing capability of traditional simulation system. Based on a series of modeling standards and developing rules, more flexible management mechanism of time, communication mechanism of the network and management mechanism of distributing data were provided for this reason.This paper implements Cruising Missile of distributed interactive simulation by working on software platform and in term of total technological scheme. It based on deeply understanding of the structure, operation principles, fly stage control, respond flows and external influence of the cruising missile weapons.A new generation of Distributed Interactive Simulation tech.-HLA , Virtual Reality tech., and Scene make up system were used in the Scene Simulation System of the Cruise Missile Weapon System, to display the virtual battle field and the progress of battle realistically. It bases on the study of terrain matching principle, flying and special effects of attack of cruise missile flying progress, and the Scene Simulation of the Distributed Virtual reality tech. is able to make the measurability of the Cruise Missile System more trustable.By using VC++ as developing platform and Vega scene simulation software as the simulation engine, this paper accomplishes the job of vision and romance of the model and simulation. Selecting MultiGen Creator for as the modeling tool of the entity and scene, this article structures a scene simulation system of terrain matching of cruising missiles flight under Window2000. At the same time, through the deep investigating of Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML), the article proposes a kind of simple and easy method of cruising missile terrain matching to settle the illogicality between the real-time capability and the verisimilitude in simulation system.
