In power system, neutral low current grounded system' s line-selection protection devices are deficient in the speed of response and the accuracy of selection. A high-speed thirty-two channels data acquisition and processing system is made of TI' s DSP TMS320F206 and two piece of MAXIM' s 2×4-channel simultaneous sampling 14-bit DAS MAX125. In addition, a Philip' s P89c51RD2 is used to control the display of LCD and the error signals etc. Based on the hardware' s features and characteristic, the line-selection theory and line-selection judge logic is optimized.The new pattern line-selection protection device has character -istics of simultaneous sampling, high precision , high selection accuracy. Compared to the other protection devices, the rate of sampling and speed of selection are improved a lot, and the precision of measure is increased too. Base the hardware, new device break through at line selection principle and logic when cooperate with arc suppressing reactor. The speed and accuracy of selection are greatly improved .New device can select thegrounded line rightly over 90%. It can solve the long-standing question in power system and the new device adopted advanced technology such as DSP has innovation on applying new computer technology in power system. The high-speed data acquisition and processing system used in device can be used in power system or automatic control system which demand supernal at data acquisition, precision, manage ability and real time managing, it has great application values.
