In china, neutral indirectly grounded system is widely used in 6~66kv grid system. The probability of single-phase grounding fault is as high as 80%, and this fault has resulted in serious losses. Therefore, it is significant for safe operation of power system to resolve grounding fault in time.In this paper, signal characters are analyzed before and after fault, and usual used arithmetic is compared. On base of this, integrative fault-line selection method is chosen, which fuses the advantages of several arithmetic, so that the correct rate of fault-line selection is increased. Considering the shortages of devices in the market, for example needing many wires when building system, process complex when installing device and so on, a new device for fault-line selection on non-direct-ground neutral system network based on SRW is designed. The device transmits data by wireless, which makes installation and building network more convenient. The hardware architecture and software designs are elaborated, and device's performance is proved by experiment.
