With the fast development of urbanization in our country, waterlogging problem is more and more serious in many cities. It is big threaten to lives and properties of citizens in these cities. Three correlative aspects of studies are undertaken to help to know the process of urban surficial flow development and conflux, to design the urban storm drainage network correctly, and to avoid the frequent occurrence of waterlogging. At first, urban surficial flow development model is built by temporal distribution analysis of storm and excess rainfall calculation. Secondly, new urban surficial flow conflux model is built by classic slope conflux theory and slope conflux simulation method put forward by this paper. Thirdly, the hydraulic design of urban storm drainage network is carried out by Maskingum method and a new design method is brought forward through hydraulic simulation of osmotic pipe and network.Programs are made to get the results of these models. The results are compared with results from SWMM. It has been proved that results from models in this dissertation are fairly precise. These models can be some consults for preventing cities from waterlogging.
