| In order to meet customers' requirements on more space and width as well as willful separation, a new type of shearwall structure system for large space residential building was developed. The out-plane moment ,under vertical load, of shearwall in large space residence building was large, and it should not be neglected. With combined effort in theoretical analysis and FEM, the author studied failure mechanism and deformation behavior of RC shearwall, and put forward some suggestions on its design.In light of the elastic thin plate theory and with single trigonometric series method ,the author induced deflection expression of slab under end moment and longitudinal pressure, which was proved correct through analysis and comparison to the result of the double trigonometric series method. Through the deflection and bending moment calculation of slab and one-dimensional member under end moment and longitudinal pressure, the author brought forward that the internal forces and deformation behavior of RC shearwall were in accordance with that of one-dimensional structural member.The author, applying the program of ANSYS ,built a nonlinear model of RC shearwall and ploted M-N curve of out-plane capacity. From the comparison with the equivalent-width and equivalent-thickness column, the author drew several important conclusions. Meanwhile he also pointed out that M-N curve of column was contained inside the RC shearwall curve, therefore, reinforced as a column, the capacity of RC shearwall could be satisfactory and in the safe side. |
