There are 1800km coastline in our country, so the construction of ports is important to our economy. Some matter which influenced the normal use of the high-piled slab and girder wharf has happened in recent years. Even some wharf s destroyed. The reason which caused the matter has been paid a lot attention by the scholars at home and abroad. In this way, the design theory of pile foundation of high-piled wharf, the method of simple calculation is one of the main reason which induced the matter. This paper bases on the introduction of the theory of the finite element method of flexible high-piled deck and FLAC3D program of finite difference method .Then, using the finite element method of flexible high-piled deck and FLAC3D program of finite difference method to analyze the transverse bent of high-piled wharf on which acts a horizontal force. And, compare the result of axes force, shearing force, bending moment, displacement, corner with which derived from the method of simple calculation. This paper illustrates application conditions and indicates the irrationality of the method of simple calculation. It may be helpful to the design of high-piled deck and pile foundation.
