With the development of urban construction, using of power cable in the city power supplies become more and more. Power cable is replacing transmission line progressively in some cities. But power cable breakdown become more and more for the quantity increased, running time delayed and circuit transformed. Length of the transformed power cable can't meet the original demands of three sections replace and breakdown of power cable circuit cause the voltage unbalance of metal protect layer. The reason of breakdown is varied. In project constructing, any improper operation can cause the puncture in power cable circuit running. With the increase of breakdown and transform of power cable circuit, the influence of voltage of power cable protect layers has been caused attention by knowledgeable people. The problem must be solved now is to reduce and eliminate the influence of the protect layer voltage. This thesis analyses the actual case, finds the breakdown reason and provides the solved method. For the power cable connected by three sections replace, the thesis constructs the mathematics model of power cable protect layer voltage lay in any way , including single line and double lines arrange in any way. Mathematics model with inductance compensation is constructed based on the proposed model.According to the constructed mathematics model with inductance compensation, the thesis writes the procedure. Interface of the software package is friendly and operation is easy. The thesis analyse the measured data of scene. Theory result and project result are identical. The exactness of the proposed mathematics model and the feasibility of the subject research are verified.
