Based on the former theory and experiments, the mechanics of chemical damage from waterand rock interaction are discussed.; By the indoor compression and pull test of rock whichrelated to chemical damage from water and rock, under the condition :the liquor with different pHand different soak period, the effect of chemical damage from water and rock interaction isresearched. The laws of chemical damage from water and rock interaction are elementarydiscussed The strength model for hydrochemical damage on rock is established using theories of chemicalkinetics and damage mechanics, the rock test coupon intensity is forecasted with this model andcompared with the experimental result. The calculation program is composed with the finite element soft of FEPG, and with thestrength model for hydrochemical damage on rock ,the intensity about large-scale rock mass isforecasted.
