Durability is one of the most important properties to evaluate the quality of concrete. Lots of original achievements and experiences in this field have been reported. A great deal of sound suggestions to improve the durability of concrete has been proposed. Although material science and technology have being highly developed, there are still many problems remained unresolved by now when concrete structures are exposed in severe environment, for example, the selection and durability mechanism of aruhuesiru. This paper mainly deals with these two parts:l.the effect of hydrosoluble HP,fibermesh and FDN on cement mortar's bend resistant strength and compressive strength under the same operating conditions and with different HP mixtures;2.the effect of HP,FDN moderator, fly ash on the durability of concrete.that is the performance of resisting osmose, erosion and freeze thawing. The results indicate that HP can promote the toughness and strength of cement mortar and concrete ,and with the increase of HP mixture.compressive strength increase more obviously than bend resistant strength does ;with the hydrosoluble HP added.themicrostructure of cement mortar and concrete will change.the space web structure will be formed .which consists of mixed hydrates and HP fibers. As a result, the performance of mortar and concrete ,with high strength and few apertures can be improved.
