The paper presented the arithmetic of difference Kalman Filtering and the arithmetic of KF and DKF used to the phase measurement. The simulation shows that the method of KF and DKF has advantages such as quick calculation ,high precision. This paper established the model of power system about KF and through much emulation finding the KF coefficient. The methods of calculating correctly of original phase angle of fundamental component using FT (DFT)and KF have also been presented in this paper. Causes are analyzed, and the improvement methods are presented. At the same time, this paper discussed the way to establish the global Dynamic Monitoring System in Power Systems based on phase measurement unit(PMU) and the global positioning system(GPS) technology.
