Gps Vehicle Monitoring System Technology Research

Near these decades, with the violent development of global economy, the state with tense traffic is aggravated constantly. ITS(Intelligent Traffic System), as a kind of brand-new way which solves the traffic problem, is developing rapidly at home and abroad. The vehicle monitoring system is the important part of ITS, and is the focuses of the development and application of domestic ITS at present.This system melts Global Positing System (GPS), Geographic Information System (GIS), Global System for Mobiles communications (GSM), the technique of computer data processing and the technique of modern data communication in the integral whole. It can realize all-weather fixed position of satellites, electronic map to show and vehicle real-time monitoring and so on. Firstly, this article detailedly introduces the GPS and GIS, explains their applications in the vehicle monitoring system, and gives the coordinate transform model which used compatibly in this system. In discussing the choice of communication mode, this paper emphasizes to analyze the short message communication technique used in transmitting location data, involves the system configuration, receiving /transmitting model and coding/encoding process of the short message communication, realizes the navigation data transmitting by the computer serial communication technique under Delphi7. 0 programming environment.On analyzing GIS technique, GPS technique, GSM technique, SMS technique and their development and application at home and abroad, this thesis expatiates the whole process of this vehicle monitoring system according the system software design. It integrally realizes the located data delivering, the electronic map showing and the locomotive target real-time monitoring by Delphi7. 0 programming environment embed MapX control, with SQL Server 2000 recording all kinds monitoring information.
