In this paper, traditional hydraulic design method on impeller of centrifugal pumpand how the structural parameters influencing performance of pump and steam corrosion;by use of the function of stimulating flow fields of FLUENT, how the outlet of impellersidelong cut and wrap angle changed influencing the performance of pump are studied;aimed at the problem that the efficiency of two circulating pumps of Zhengzhou HeatPower Plant is low when they operate, based on shell and basic size unchanged, theimpellers of two pumps have been optimized, the designing parameters were selectednewly. This time, the drawing means of pane net has been adopted to design theimpellers on the drawing software——AutoCAD, and numerical simulation has beenoperated by making use of FLUENT. Based on referencing high-effect pumps, traditionaldesigning means has been reformed. From the research, the new impellers can satisfywith flow process in pump, their performances can also satisfy with the request ofZhengzhou Heat Power Plant.
