| The thesis is focus on the research of differential current protectionin UHV transmission line. Aiming at the capacitance current and CTsaturation, the corresponding methods are proposed. Based on the influence of the distributed capacitance current of UHVtransmission line on differential current protection, a novel accuratecompensation method of capacitance current is proposed in this paper.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method is superior to thefixed compensation method. The problem of CT saturation is very difficult all at times and thispaper makes researches on CT saturation in UHV transmission lines. The CTsaturated characteristic and the influence of CT saturated to the currentdifferential protection have been analyzed, and the anti- saturated measureshave been proposed.
