The process industry often copes with high pressure fluid material, including the used high pressure fluid. In the past ,the used high pressure fluid was directly discharged after being throttled and pressure -reduced. The inefficient utilization of the energy in the fluid is the main cause of the continuing high energetic consumption in process industry. Therefore, the process industry has been applying fluid energy recovering technology to achieve the best and the most efficient disposition of energy all over the world. In China, the comprehension pressure and energy utilization industry has already been taken as the key developing field in "The Tenth Five-Year Plan" .The research on the comprehensive utilization of fluid energy is so significant that it can bring both social effects and economic returns. Foreign researches had begun since 1960s, and the comprehensive utilization technology of fluid energy has already been industrialized and applied in process industry. While our country fall behind the foreign countries in these researches and our technology and equipments depend on imports. For this reason, the development of the comprehensive utilizing technology and equipment with independent intellectual property of fluid energy is an urgent need in carrying out the sustainable strategy in China.Based on the commentary of the foreign and domestic fluid pressure energy utilizing technology and equipments, this thesis paper employs the experiment-oriented research method supplemented by the means of the theoretical computation, and makes a deep research on the most efficient rotary pressure exchanger with the highest efficiency in fluid energy comprehensive utilizing technology.1. Consulting technical data and doing research on pressure exchanger, deciding on the working principles, technical parameters, and the extent of geometric parameters.2. Setting up experimental devices while taking the small-size reverse osmosis seawater desalinating device as the industrial background, mainly including designing the prototype of rotary pressure exchanger and deciding on the process of the experiment.3. Making experimental research on rotary pressure exchanger, mainly including the research on the generating mechanism of rotor without any external auxiliary force and the fluid energy exchanging mechanism in rotary pressure exchanger, and the analysis of the working efficiency of the prototype and the experimental system.
