| The technique of constructing a dam with filling geotube is one of the important structure arts in coastal protection engineering and in enclosing tideland for cultivation engineering along the estuary and the sea. The filling geotube dam is also one of the important type technology in hydraulic and coastal engineering. The magnitude and distribution of wave forces have a direct effect on safety and stability of the structure. Because of wave being subjected to many factors along the estuary and sea, there are various difficulties when we determine the magnitude of wave forces of the filling geotube dam. At the present time, people apply physical model test to determine wave forces. But, test results done by different researchers always have a great divergence when they apply variant model test methods and different analytical procedures in the flume experiment. If we want to get more accurate model results, we will still research more profound in a number of ways.hi this paper, regular wave flume experiment are conducted on Selecting four different degrees of slope which are 1:1.2,1:1.5,1:2.0 and 1:2.5 respectively of dike body with the filling geotube and setting four model depth of water: 14cm, 18cm,22cm and 26cm. when wave steepness are 1/15 and 1/20 respectively, the paper discusses the critical stability of dike body with the filling geotube and measures the distribution of wave force and the displacement of the structure of geotube. According to the model test result, there are three types of form of stability damage in the structure of geotube specified firstly in the paper. Basing on various influencing factors of wave, the experiment achieves that various wave steepness, ratios of slope and different depth of water and wave heights have a great effect on the stability of structure and presents the recommendations so as to instruct practical engineering. Combined with the theory of critical stability and computation theory of lasting displacement, conclusion is made.Finally, paper generalizes the contents of this thesis and presents the continued direction of the paper . Because of the confinement of various factors and investigative test of the paper, the conclusion must be its limitation .But it can still be borrowed ideas from the paper to apply in engineering. |
