With the advantages of compact structure, high component density, small-occupied area, agile change, and standardization, the hydraulic manifold block (HMB) has been extensively applied to the design of the hydraulic system. Nevertheless its design is a complicated work, easy to make mistakes, and has been perplexing people all the time, although people have already done a lot of work in this respect. And following the constant development of hydraulic technology, new problems are appearing constantly, so the design of HMB becomes more and more complicated and results in a research upsurge.The design of HMB begins with the layout of hydraulic components, ends with the output of its engineering drawing, includes the design of hole system, check of hole system and modification, and even the modification of the layout of hydraulic components to get the best structure of the hole system of HMB and satisfy the design of connection of hydraulic system. In order to make it convenient for the design and check of its hole system, improve working efficiency, this system adds the drawing module of the hydraulic principle picture, offers a good basis for the data of hole system to be connected and checked. In this system, the author has mainly made the following work:1.The module of hydraulic principle picture, finishing the graphics library of hydraulic component, realizing the line connection design of the principle picture, producing the principle picture and the information of connecting among the components, and forming the basis of the check and design of HMB hole passage system;2.The module of space layout of the hydraulic component, it provides the contract of using the coordination system, finishes the database of the bottom surface connection and external dimension of hydraulic component, provides the space layout of the principle andmethod of the hydraulic component, according to "approaching principle", distributes the hydraulic component for every hydraulic block, creates its description file of the hole system position, and carries out the component layout and interfering check-up according to hydraulic component external dimension database.3.The module of connection design and interfering check-up, providing algorithm of counting hole depth, the principle and the method of the design of hole system; Based on the connection information from the principle picture, the hole position description information from the component layout, and the hole depth information created by the hole depth algorithm, the system carries out the design of hole connection, then checks up the connection relation of hole passage. Furthermore the system carries out the check-up for the thinnest wall thickness and the minimum flow area.4. The module of three-dimensional model, according to the solid modeling representative method --CSG method and solid modeling operation method -- boolean operation method, the system carries out solid model for HMB, provides the classification of the hole passages of HMB and their building method, they can be dynamically appeared with three-dimension way, and there can be various visual effect and observation way;5. The module of the data export, for the errorless and satisfied design after check and evaluation, the system provides the HMB part drawings that accord with the international standard or enterprise norm, and also provides the hole relation table of every HMB.This system regards WINDOWS2000 as the developing platform, AutoCAD2002 of AUTODESK Company as the support software, VBA (Visual Basic for Application) of AutoCAD as the second developing tool.
